Current Reading and Listening

Summer Reading is officially in full swing! What are you reading? Here's my current list.

Reading:
1) just finished "The Devil and the White City" - a fun read about the world's fair in Chicago. Pretty spooky secondary story about a serial killer.
2) "Manhunt" - the story of John Wilkes Booth's assassination of Abraham Lincoln and the country's search for him immediatly afterward.

Listening:
CDs I got for my birthday:
1) Paul McCartney's "Memory Almost Full".
2) Allison Krauss's "A Hundred Miles or More".

Worship CDs
1) Jeremy Riddle's "Full Attention"
2) Brooke Frasier's "Albertine"

Current:

Mounce, "Greek"

OK, so maybe you don't want to know all the seminary books I'm reading... ;-)

literacygirl,

the cd has a couple of beautiful tracks, but a couple of duds as well. it's simply a compilation of some of the tracks she's done for various projects over the years . . . with, like, 3 unreleased tracks. I love the opening track - simple country boy.

beloved,

my wife just finished the Bainton, and loved it. Keep up your Greek. If you get it wrong, you'll be starting a cult soon. :-)

Been there, done that.

JUST KIDDING!

Off topic, warn me if I'm digging in dangerous territory over at Pastor James' blog (Mars Hill...All Truth Is God's Truth). I love a good philosophical discussion, but I'd rather lay low than bring down an iron fist, if those are my two options. ;-)
