UPDATE:

I unofficially started seminary Friday, so add 8 books, 3 book reports, a couple of papers, a couple of big exams, and a week long conference to my list for the next month. Talk about hitting the ground running...

Current book: Bruce Demarest, Satisfy Your Soul: Restoring the Heart of Christian Spirituality

Up next: Philip Jenkins, The Next Christendom

Michael - my four year old has seen ALL the special features on LoTR. I might write a post on that... thanks for the idea.

lala & Cornelius - thanks for playing! Write more often!

Beloved - what cards are you using? Navigators?

Beloved said...

I have some Navigators cards still hiding away in a box somewhere, but no. I made them, based on scripture recommendations from Pastor James... 10 of them. I'm trying to memorize them all at once... not sure if that's the best approach, but I figure if I read each of them aloud 7 times a day, in a month or two I'll have them more or less down pat. The shorter ones, I already do.

UPDATE:

Finished, Demarest. (If anyone is interested in my 2 pg. review, I'll be happy to email it to them, in case they'd like to read it... I highly recommend it.)

One chapter into Jenkins. Great stuff so far.
